Mighty Hero Homes: A Permanent Solution to Veteran Homelessness
More than 33,000 U.S. veterans face homelessness today, according to the 2022 Annual Homeless Assessment Report to Congress. Many more live in unstable or temporary conditions, unable to find affordable housing.
Mighty Hero Homes is rewriting that story. Their mission is to eradicate veteran homelessness by building affordable, permanent homes in safe, supportive communities known as “Bases.” Each Base includes modular homes, job training, health services, green spaces, and community centers, all designed to help veterans transition from homelessness to home ownership.
Their philosophy is built on a powerful belief: Because They Deserve Better.
Each Base will house over 80 modular Mighty Hero Homes, with community facilities like training centers, commissaries, and health clinics to support veterans’ physical, emotional, and financial wellness. The organization’s goal is to establish 450 Bases nationwide by 2031, creating over 37,000 permanent homes for America’s heroes.
“It’s not just housing, it’s hope,” Cobb said. “That’s why we’re proud to stand with Mighty Hero Homes and sponsor events that raise awareness and funds for their mission.”
